A funeral service for Marc Alan Hentell, 83-year-old, Los Angeles, Calif.-born, who passed away on October 20, 2025 in Los Angeles, will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025, 1 p.m. at L.A. Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 815 E. 1st St., Los Angeles.
He is predeceased by his wife, Keiko Hentell; and son, Philip Hentell; and survived by his son, Erik Hentell.

Mark was a lawyer with the LA County Public Defender Office for many years. No one
including LAPD ballistics experts know more about guns than Mark. He was helpful to
fellow defense attorneys when ballistics was an issue in one of our cases.
