(88) passed away on May 21, 2011 in Gardena. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Malmin; sisters, Tsutaye Mori, Dorothy (Hideo) Nakayu, and Sue Kuwata; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A private funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at the Memorial Chapel of Kubota Nikkei Mortuary with Rev. Masao Kodani from Senshin Buddhist Temple officiating.
