A private funeral service for Marie Hatsumi Koseki, 90 year-old, Scottsbluff, NE born Nisei, who passed away on October 23, 2011 in Los Angeles was held on Friday, October 28, 2011 at the Memorial Chapel of Kubota Nikkei Mortuary with Rev. Mark Nakagawa of Centenary United Methodist Church officiating.

She is predeceased by her son, Dr. Calvin; survived by her husband, Ted Koseki; daughter-in-law, Frances Gong of El Cajon, CA; grandchildren, Allison Marie Koseki of Seattle, WA and Wesley Cameron Koseki of El Cajon, CA; sister, Mabel (George) Abe of Scottsbluff, NE; brothers-in-law, Reginald and William (Irene) Koseki both of Las Vegas, NV; sister-in-law, Marjorie Moore of Oak Park, CA; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
