MARY THERESA FREIDOUNI (68) passed away on August 23, 2026 in Los Angeles, CA after a protracted period of illness. Mary attended Belmont High School and obtained her associate’s degree at LA Trade Tech. Mary managed the Catholic Kolping House, a non-profit Catholic residence for unmarried for eleven years. She was a dutiful and devout catholic, who regularly prayed the Rosary for her family and her extended network of friends.

She is survived by her five siblings; Carlos (Nancy) Codina, Martin (Valetta) Codina, George (Cecilia) Codina, Leonard (Cindy) Codina, and Gloria (Robert) Kosbie; and her ten nieces and nephews. Her family is deeply saddened and mourns the loss of their dear Mary.

A funeral mass was held on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, Los Angeles.
