A funeral service for Masako Marge Tanaka, 98-year-old, Los Angeles, CA-born Nisei, who passed away on January 4, 2026 in Huntington Park, CA, will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at 3:30 PM at Gardena Buddhist Church, 1517 W. 166th St., Gardena.

She is survived by her children, Don (Melanie) and Richard (Ann) Tanaka, and Anne Finney; grandchildren, Peter, Keiko (Donn), Tori, Spencer (Stephanie), Michelle and Melissa Tanaka, Carolyn (Kristen Johnson) and Bryan (Nicole) Finney; great-grandchildren, Tom, Alma and Eliza Finney; also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
