(91) passed away on June 7, 2011 in Los Angeles, CA. He is survived by his wife, Nobuko Tanaka; children, Bob, Lester (Nina), Roger Tanaka and Grace (David) Uyeshima; grandchildren, Dennis, Scott Uyeshima and Alyssa, Spencer, Logan Tanaka; siblings, Joe (kyoko) Tanaka of Japan and Kikue (James) Sameshima; sister-in-law, Yasuko Sugimoto; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at 10:30 AM at Senshin Buddhist Temple, 1311 W. 37th St., L.A. Family requests that flowers be omitted.
