A funeral service for Minoru Henry Matsumoto, 94 year-old, Tottori, Japan born Issei, who passed away on February 16, 2014 in Orange, will be held under the auspices of the Zenshuji Soto Mission on Friday, March 7, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Zenshuji Soto Mission, 123 S. Hewitt St., L.A. Family requests that flowers be omitted.

He is survived by his daughters, Michie Noma of Japan, and Kimie (Fred) Matsumoto; grandchildren, Isamu (Reiko) and Takeshi (Seiko) Noma both of Japan, Michael (Akemi), Gary (Sachiko) Matsumoto, and Karen (Christopher) Gallegos; six great-grandchildren; brother, Hiroshi Matsumoto; sister-in-law, Satsuko Kimura of Japan; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives in U.S. and Japan.
