A private funeral service for Mitsuko Motoyasu, 80 year-old, Los Angeles, CA born Kibei Nisei, who passed away on March 23, 2010 in Harbor City was held on April 2, 2010 at the Chapel of Green Hills Memorial Park with Bishop Seicho Asahi from Koyasan Buddhist Temple officiating.

She is survived by her husband, Takashi Motoyasu; children, Steve (Aya) Motoyasu, Joyce (Richard) Straky, and James (Darlene) Motoyasu; grandchildren, Miaki, Keith, David and Kevin Motoyasu; brother, Tom (Masako) Nakamura; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
