(51) passed away on April 21, 2012 in Torrance. She was pre-deceased by her mother, Florence Mieko Miyake and survived by her husband, Arthur Kenji Kuwahara; father, Shoma Miyake; sister, Diane (Layne) Tarumoto; also survived by many uncles, aunties, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 6, 2012 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Gardena Japanese Cultural Institute, 1964 W. 162nd St. Gardena, CA.
