(96) passed away on August 16, 2010 in Torrance. She is survived by her children, Betty (Tak) Yamashita, Kent (Hideko) Takahashi; Carole (Rodney) Sekimoto; grandchildren, Carrie (Joe) Barger, Dale (Michelen) and John (Jennifer) Yamashita; Adrienne and Aaron Takahashi; Leigh (Lena) and Steven (Trilla) Sekimoto, Allison (Graham) Smith, 15 great grandchildren; sisters, Lillian Nakano and Hideko Kadoi; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 10:30AM at Senshin Buddhist Temple, 1311 W. 37th St., LA. Family requests that flowers be omitted.
