(82) who peacefully passed away on February 16, 2009 in Paramount. She is survived by her husband, Dave Matayoshi; children, Lynette (Bryan) Ishino, Duane (Lillian) Matayoshi, Doreen (Neil) LaBarge; grand children, Justin and Kyle Ishino, Melanie Matayoshi; siblings, Tamotsu (Shizuyo) Nakata from Maui, HI, Patsy Souza, Jeanette Nakata, Kenneth (Jen) Nakata from Las Vegas, NV, Ronald Nakata from Maui, HI; sister-in-law, Inez Nakata, Chiyo Matayoshi from New York, NY, Pat Ige, Toyo Miyashiro, Yemi Matayoshi, Minnie Matayoshi; brother-in-law, John Matayoshi; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives. 

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at Venice Santa Monica Free Methodist Church, 4871 Centinela Ave., Los Angeles, CA. Additional parking will be available at the Venice Japanese Community Center, 12448 Braddock Dr., LA. Family requests flowers be omitted.
