(92) peacefully passed away on February 22, 2009 in West Hills. He is survived by his daughter, Diane Kawaguchi; grand children Scott (Mika) Fujimoto, Audrey (Michael) Good from Tucson AZ, and Mayumi (Hugh Schuckman) Kodani; son-in-law, Rev. Masao Kodani; sister-in-laws, Mary Kawaguchi of Fresno, CA, Miki Kawaguchi from Fresno, CA, Alice Nakai, Hazel Bungo, and Grace (Sammy) Nakagawa all from Reedley, CA, and Mae (Dave) Gundlach from Sacramento, CA; brother-in-law, Jim Bungo from Reedley, CA, Sam (Peggy) and Glenn (Pat) Bungo; also survived by many other relatives.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2009 at 11:00 AM at West LA Buddhist Temple, 2003 Corinth Ave., West LA, CA.
