(89) peacefully passed away on July 23, 2013 in Los Angeles. He is survived by his wife, Molly Takahashi; children, Willie (Gail) Takahashi, Patti (Tod) Sugasawara, and Rich (Stef) Takahashi; grandchildren, Shawn and Tani Sugasawara, Alyssa Stefek, Niki and Koji Takahashi; sisters-in-law, Yo Kuramoto and Sue Takahashi; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 3:00PM AT West Los Angeles Buddhist Temple, 2003 Corinth Ave., Los Angeles.
