A private funeral service for Otsuno Okamoto, 107 year-old, Taiji, Wakayama-Ken, Japan born Issei, who passed away on September 8, 2009 in Rosemead was held on Thursday, September 17, 2009 at the Union Church of Los Angeles.

She is survived by her children, Hideko Taniguchi, Koichi (Kazue), and Mitsuko Okamoto, 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Fusaye Okamoto; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
