(80), veteran of Korean War, passed away on December 24, 2010 in San Gabriel. He is survived by his wife, Frances Fumie Toshima; son, Kevin Fumio (Rachel Midori) Toshima; granddaughters, Nicole Akemi and Kelli Akiko Toshima; sisters, Kiyoshi Kumagai of Japan and Sumiko Ruth Ogawa; sisters-in-law, Mieko, Mitzi Toshima and Aiko Shimamoto; brothers-in-law, Takeshi and Seiya (Peggy) Shimamoto; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A private funeral service was held on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at the Memorial Chapel of Kubota Nikkei Mortuary with Rinban Noriaki Ito from Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple officiating.
