(85) and Noboru Yoshimoto (90) passed away on May 25, 2009 and May 27, 2009 respectively in Los Angeles. Noboru and Peggy are survived by their children, Gail (John) Okazaki and Randy (Karen) Yoshimoto; grand children, Roger and Timothy Okazaki, Scott and Alexa Yoshimoto; Peggy is survived by her siblings, Howard (Alice) Taniguchi, June Asai, Mae (Harry) Kajioka, Ned (Lois) Taniguchi, William Taniguchi, and Betty (Cal) Kitazumi; Noboru is survived by his siblings, Matsuko Nomura, Yoshiye Honda, and Masaru Yoshimoto; sister-in-law, Shizuko Yoshimoto; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives. 

Private funeral services was held on Friday, June 12, 2009 at the Green Hills Memorial Park Chapel with Rev. Fumiaki Usuki from West LA Buddhist Temple officiating.
