(62) passed away on July 3, 2011 in Torrance. He is survived by his wife, Mieko Shindo; children, Takayuki, Juliane Arisa Shindo of Boston and Alan Hironobu Shindo; parents, Hirotaka and Junko Shindo of Japan; sister, Terumi (Minoru) Inoue of Japan; parents-in-law, Emyo and Nobuko Shirabe of Japan; brothers-in-law, Toshiaki (Seiko), Nobuyuki (Chiemi) and Junichi (Miyoko) Shirabe of Japan; sister-in-law, Miyoko Shirabe of Japan; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives in Japan.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2011 at 3:00PM under the auspices of the Buddhist Churches of America and Gardena Buddhist Church, 1517 W. 166th St. Gardena.
