(83) peacefully passed away on September 22, 2008 in Los Angeles. She is survived by her husband, Toshio Kubota; daughter, Kathy (Mark) Wooster of San Diego, Jean (Karl) Kawakami, and Nora Kubota; brother, Shoichi (Teruko) Uchiyama and Kyoji Uchiyama both from Japan; sister-in-laws, Hisano Endo, Masayo Rachi, and Michie Kubota all from Japan; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. 

Funeral service will be held on Monday, September 29, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Los Angeles Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 815 East First Street, Los Angeles, CA. Kubota Nikkei Mortuary, Directors (213) 749-1449.
