A funeral service for Satoshi Ujiiye, 81 year-old, Kaneohe, HI born Nisei, who peacefully passed away on January 2, 2013 in Placentia, CA, will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 10:00AM at Zenshuji Soto Mission, 123 S. Hewitt St., Los Angeles, CA.

He is survived by his children, Amy Borden, Cyrus (Cindy) Ujiiye, Carol Ujiiye and Dora (Danny) Gao-Ay; four grandchildren; sisters, Tsuruko Takeuchi of Japan, and Ritsuko Frances Yanase; sisters-in-law, Shigeko Loretta Ujiiye and Masako Ujiiye; also suvived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives in Japan.
