(94) peacefully passed away on April 29, 2013 in Los Angeles. She is survived by her children, Norman Toshio (Gay) Kato, Marilyn Nami Kobayashi and Nadine Kayo (Rodney) Yamane; six grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Kazuko Kato and Kimi Iwahashi the latter of Tokyo, Japan; brothers-in-law, Shuji Uyematsu of Watsonville, CA and Mas Hitomi; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 10, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Chapel of Green Hills Memorial Park, 27501 S. Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes with Rev. Edward Siebert officiating.
