(86), passed away on September 30, 2011 in Gardena. She is survived by her children, Carolyn and Katherine Higuchi and Pamela (Gary) Yuyama; grandchildren, Kasey and Haley Yuyama; sister, Grace Mizumoto; sister-in-law, Kazuko Mizumoto; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A private funeral service was be held on Monday, October 10, 2011 at the Memorial Chapel of Kubota Nikkei Mortuary with Rev. Marvin Harada from Orange County Buddhist Church officiating.
