A private funeral service for Susan Kay Fujimoto, 73 year-old, Grand Rapid, MI born Sansei who passed away on July 1, 2024 in Hawthorne, CA, was held on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at Senshin Buddhist Temple.

She is predeceased by parents, Mitz and Marian Fujimoto; sister, Terrie Fujimoto, and survived by her son, Jack (Noemi) Maeshiro; granddaughter, Emiko Maeshiro; sister, Alyce (Craig) Saito; nephew and niece, Marcus (Kanako) and Lindsay (Mike Anderson) Saito; also survived by many other relatives.
