A private funeral service for Tayeko Mary Torio, 104-year-old, Rialto, CA-born Nisei, who passed away on March 18, 2026 in Los Angeles, was held on Sunday, April 19, 2026 at Senshin Buddhist Temple.

 

She is survived by her daughters, Linda Torio and Karen (Don) Adams; granddaughters, Nadeen (Rosaleen Fitzpatrick) Torio and Lindsay (Bryan) Arii; great-grandsons, Grayson and Ryder Arii; sister, Chieko Morinaka; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
