(77) peacefully passed away on March 22, 2009 in Los Angeles. He is survived by his wife, Kiyoka Totani; sister, Mieko Kubota and Setsuko (Yukimori) Moji; sister-in-laws, Akemi (Yoshitaka) Kaneko, Reiko (Tadashi) Usui all from Japan, and Reiko Totani; nephew, John Totani; also survived by many other relatives here and in Japan.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 29, 2009 at 6:00PM at the West LA Buddhist Temple, 2003 Corinth Ave., West LA, CA. Family requests that flowers be omitted.
