(100) peacefully passed away on June 17, 2013 in San Mateo. She is survived by her children, Yoshinori, Shoji (Kazuko), Mitsunobu (Emi), and Robert (Ruth) Akutagawa, eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Ron Shimamoto; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives in the U.S. and Japan. 

A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 28, 2013 at 7:00 PM at West Los Angeles Buddhist Temple, 2003 Corinth Ave., West Los Angeles, CA.
