(87) peacefully passed away on August 4, 2010 in Los Angeles. He is survived by his daughter, Irene Reiko Sato; her fiancé George Tanaka; son, Glenn Makoto (Miyuki) Iriye, granddaughter; Emily Asuka Sato; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Jodoshu Betsuin of North America, 422 East 3rd Street, Los Angeles, CA.
