(89) passed away on October 20, 2009 in Torrance. She is survived by her children, Akiko (Henry) Toyooka and Karen Takemoto; brother-in-law, Bill (Shiz) Takemoto; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A private funeral service was held on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at the Memorial Chapel of Kubota Nikkei Mortuary with Rev. Richard Furukawa of Johrei Fellowship Los Angeles Center officiating.
