(89) passed away on December 5, 2010 in San Gabriel. She is survived by her husband, Takashi Kawahara; children, Sheldon (Nomi), James (Leslie), Paul (Randi) Kawahara, Holly (Alan) Etmund, Sheri (David) Fisher and Barbara Arita; siblings, Sho (Dorothy), Jerry (Dorothy) Ishino, Chiyo (Hiro) Kikkawa, Seiko (Rocky) Shimatsu, Kiyome (Chanki) Khim and Kimiko (Tony) Contreras; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 2:00-3:00PM at the Memorial Chapel of Kubota Nikkei Mortuary, 911 Venice Blvd., LA.
