(81) passed away on December 1, 2011 in Santa Monica. She is survived by her husband, Sakae Sasaki; children, Jean Akutagawa, Karen, George, and Thomas Sasaki; siblings, Takako Ohashi; Brothers-in-law, Masaru and Noboru (Harumi) Sasaki; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A private funeral service was held on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at the Memorial Chapel of Kubota Nikkei Mortuary with Rev. John Iwohara from Venice Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating.
