A private funeral service for Yoshiko Suzuki, 65 year-old Beijing, China born Issei, who peacefully passed away on January 16, 2010 in Los Angeles was held on Thursday, January 21, 2010, at Kubota Nikkei Mortuary, with Rev. William Briones from Los Angeles Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating. 

She is survived by her husband, Yoshio Suzuki; children, Takao Suzuki and Takako (Michael) Li; granddaughter, Vivian Li; uncles, Tokusuke (Nobuko) Uehara of Japan and Teisuke (Misao) Uehara of Brazil; Aunt, Mitsu Maeda of Japan; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
